Looking at the speaker you will see that the rubber surround is nothing like what you would expect on such a small speaker, usually found on subwoofers, the new design allows for extend bass frequencies. While the price of these is lower than the SPR series the performance is nothing short of it. It’s rare to be excited at speakers at this price level however we at Car Audio Centre think Alpine have really set a new level on launching the new SS Series.
